Objectives
- Name 2 physiological benefits often experienced by surgical patients after utilization of holistic techniques in preparation for surgery and recovery
- Name 2 examples of techniques the surgical patient can choose from to decrease anxiety and speed recovery
- Identify at least 2 actions/methods to be taken by the perioperative nurse that will improve surgical outcomes for patients
