Patient Privacy Issues, Ethics, and HIPAA Requirements

Purpose:

In the fourth part of our Company Representative Credentialing Series, we cover all the aspects of patient privacy that a company representative needs to know. First, patient privacy and patient rights are defined, and you are given the steps to follow that will protect the patient. The law defending patient rights to privacy are explained. Finally appropriate privacy ethics for the operating room areexplored.
