The overall purpose of this series is to educate nurses about Vascular Surgery. This is course 3 in a 3 course series. This third course covers abdominal aortic aneurysms. After studying this course, the learner will be able to identify risk factors associated with this disease, detection strategies, as well as have an overview of the two procedures used to treat it: EVAR and Open surgical repair.
