Purpose:
This course reviews known electrosurgical patient risks and promotes a proactive approach to minimize these risks to optimize patient outcomes by improving safety. We review practice issues, training and competencies, performance improvement, practice challenges, and practice concerns in regard energy sources. Cases studies are explored, helping the participant learn how to implement the knowledge gained in the course.

Objectives
