Anaphylaxis and Its Treatment

Purpose:

Anaphylaxis can happen to any patient at any time with no warning, and in one to two minutes can become a life-threatening situation. To aid nurses in properly identifying this emergency and intervening to potentially save a patient's life, this course teaches the underlying physiological process of anaphylaxis, its symptoms, and its treatment.
