- Describe the hazards of surgical smoke including the odor, particulate matter size, potential for transmission of pathogens, and endoscopic hazards
- Compare guidelines and recommendations from various professional organizations and regulatory organizations
- Demonstrate appropriate smoke evacuation methods to eliminate the hazards of surgical smoke
