I have worked in the perioperative arena for 27 years- scrubbing, circulating, assisting, manager and unit director. As a Surgical Services Director in 2004, I researched extensively in order to meet the JCAHO Sentinel Event Alert recommendations. The result is my presentation on Anesthesia Awareness.
